SAFETY AND SECURITY
Just like the environment, safety and security are given utmost priority at Subic Bay.
The entire bay area is fenced, and vehicular and pedestrian traffic at entry and exit gates are closely monitored. Law enforcers are also visible everywhere - from commercial districts to tourist spots - while police assistance, fire protection and emergency services can easily be reached thru Subic Bay's 911/9111 emergency hotlines, whether from your residence, your workplace or anywhere else within Subic Bay.
Similarly, residential districts have gated and controlled entry and exit points that are manned 24/7 by police officers in addition to regular police vehicle and foot patrols that roam the neighborhood day and night. To tighten the security further in housing areas, ID cards and vehicle decals are likewise issued to residents and other members of their households while temporary IDs may be secured for transients.
A Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority-initiated project called "CommunityWatch" likewise encourages residents, workers and visitors to alert authorities when needed, using the 911/9111 Help Hotlines.
